Partner Institutions
C2SM combines the climate modeling and data analysis expertise of several Zurich-based institutions active in climate research into one network. The partners of C2SM are ETH Zurich, external pageMeteoSwiss, external pageEmpa, external pageWSL, and external pageEawag.
Collaborations
C2SM interacts with national and international institutions. Some organisations are involved in collaborative research projects.
National organisations:
On a national level, C2SM has traditionally been very closely collaborating with the external pageSwiss National Supercomputing Centre CSCS. This collaboration, together with ETH Zurich, and the external pageFederal Office of Meteorology and Climatology MeteoSwiss has been the basis for cutting edge developments in the area of High Performance Computing (HPC), notably the development of the accelerated versions of the COSMO and ICON weather and climate models.
In addition, C2SM works closely together with the external pageNational Centre for Climate Service NCCS at MeteoSwiss on the subject of the Swiss Climate Change Scenarios, and with the external pageForum for Climate and Global Change ProClim.
