Poster Extended Abstracts

Only for successful candidates who have been notified by email.
Deadline extended: 19 June 2019

The poster session is an integral part of the summer school. All participants are expected to present a poster of their on-going thesis or research project. This will give participants the opportunity to share experiences and receive suggestions and advices on-going projects.

All participants shall prepare and submit an extended abstract of their poster following the indications provided in the Downloadtemplatevertical_align_bottom Downloadtemplate (PDF, 22 KB)vertical_align_bottom.

The extended abstract should be sent by email as a pdf file to by 19 June 2019.

Poster Format:

Posters have to be in portrait format with a maximum size of 90 cm (width) x 120 cm (height).

Terms and Conditions

Cancellation Policy

Registration fee is not refunded. Lodging fees: the cancellation policy for booked meals and accommodation is dictated by the payment conditions of the hotel and conference centre Monte Verita. According to Hotel MV regulations, accommodation fee will be refunded as follows:

• until 30 days prior to arrival > no fee will be charged
• 29 - 15 days prior to arrival date > 35 % of the total amount due
• 14 - 3 days prior to arrival date > 50 % of the total amount due
• 48 - 24 hours prior to arrival date > 75 % of the total amount due
• < 24 hours – no show > 100 % of the total amount due
• Early departure > 100 % of the total amount due

Liability

The summer school organizers cannot accept any liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss or damage to property belonging to the participants (or their accompanying persons), either during, or as a result of, the summer school. Registration or accommodation fees do not include insurance. By registering and paying the summer school fee, you accept all the above terms and conditions.
